I would like to simulate a mixing of 2 components A & B trough a packed bed reactor (D=10cm L=50cm) of spheres (2 mm), and analyze the average composition across the bed in the axial direction.
Let's imagine that the species enter the inlet cross section completely separated:
- Component A -> External annular section
- Component B -> Internal circle
How would you approach the problem?
Have you got some advice on simulate a bed of spheres all of the same size?
Thank you in advance for your support.
