Massless particle tracing in Porous media

Hi,

I need help with finding the best way to track fluid movement in domains that are joined by a continuous boundary but contain different fluids. I am solving a 3D porous media problem with two domains(top and bottom) and have specified different fluids in the two domains by specifying a different fluid density and viscosity. The bottom domain has a storage component as well as an outflow boundary why the no flux boundary conditions are enforced on all other boundaries. I was trying to utilize particle tracing as a means of determining if fluid moves from one of the domains into another but I have been unable to get any satisfactory answers from my simulations so far.
I implement my simulation by running a Darcy's Law transient study of the overall domain, and then using a one way coupling to try to determine the massless particle trajectories in another transient study. i.e. i turn off the Darcy's Law physics when attempting to solve for particle tracing and vice versa. My observation is that the velocity values been used by the second study are not reflective of the actual velocity values obtained from Darcy's Law, even though they have been specified as such in the Particle properties tab in the second physics. Can anyone advise on what's the best way to do this?
