Meshing tips

I have a very simple model of a beam line with two quadrupole magnets and for some reason I can't mesh it right. In order to mesh without errors I have to make all of my meshes extremely fine and then it takes hours to perform any studies.

Does anyone have any tips on how to mesh correctly/efficiently? I would really appreciate any insight.
