Importing X Y column data in .txt file to table for polygon

I am trying to import as a polygon to a plane a set of X Y coordinate data created from ImageJ and saved as a .txt file.

I am getting the error "The file does not contain valid coordinate data".

The txt file is two columns of numbers w/o headings. Any hints or direction would be appreciated.

This might be too late to help Bill - but for me, I was able to use a file to create a closed polygon on a work plane by using a comma-separated list of (x, y) values. A sample of which is below:

3.951300e-02, 4.144400e-02
1.360000e-04, 1.425710e-01
3.991200e-02, 4.340740e-02
4.027008e-02, 4.537858e-02
4.057819e-02, 4.735800e-02
4.085465e-02, 4.934237e-02
4.113285e-02, 5.132650e-02
