How to set an environment temperature

Hi everyone,

I am new to Comsol, My question is how to set and environment temperature in comsol heat transfer module.?

Actually i want to see the temperature distribution over a time on certain material in a preset heated environment (say 100degC)

Can someone help me.. please...???

Hi,

If your environment has 100°C as initial temperature you have to set it in "Initial Value" in the heat transfer module.
See the image attached.

In the basic "Multiphysics" Module You can choose
under the node "Physics", You can choose: "Heat Transfer in Solids"
Under that node You can choose in the menu (ribbon) "Physics" /" Boundaries" /"Temperature" and set there the temperature at the boundary of Your object.
