Arrange Continuity between Thin Shells and Solids in an assembly - HT

Hi,

according to this older thread: www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/14702/ I finally established a proper simulation of combined thin shells and solids heat transfer (union). But as I change the Geometry import finalization from union to assembly and set the continuity on the automatic builded identity pairs then there appears an error message during the solving process. Obviously the contact properties aren't set correct at the transition of thin shell to solid.

Could someone give me a short idea how I could establish a working contact continuity between thin shells and solids

I would be really glad if someone could help me.

Best Regards
Alex

...I was totally confused - thermal contact is completely different to (thermal) continuity. Wrong translation of the german words in my mind. Sorry for that. I corrected the request. Despite being blind, I still need help with this issue.

Thanks,
Alex
