Compression simulation with complex shape

I want to do an automated compression simulation of a complex shape, but it doesn't have a simple top or bottom, so prescribed displacement + fixed constraint won't work. I've been trying to use Body Load, but it seems to need a fixed constraint on the bottom still. Essentially: is there a way to do a compression simulation that works regardless if you change the geometry?
