Electromagnetic induction (Helmholtz coils + pick up coil)

Hello everyone, I'm trying to apply an AC current to helmholtz coils in order to generate an AC magnetic field with a rms value of 100 uT. But I'm facing some problems, please refer to these questions and help me with it: * What kind of study should I apply (time depedant or frequency domain) knowing that the helmholtz coils are the equivalent of a 380 kV/50Hz transmission line (current varies according to the load but it's typically from 0 to 3 kA) ? * How can I apply a sinusoidal signal to the helmholtz coils? * What voltage/current should I apply to the pick up coil to get the induced current (put between the two helmholtz coils)? * how can I optimize the value of current applied to helmholtz coils to get to 100 uT(rms)? (I tried it with DC current but it's taking a lot of time using an optimization study step)
