How to get the strain tensor value for 1st, 2nd, 3rd... eigenmode using linear buckling solver?

Hi all,

We are using the "linear buckling" solver. We set the desired number of buckling modes to 3. We intend to define a variable in the “Definitions”. This variable is a function of the “strain tensor (material and geometry frames)”. However, if we use solid.eXX, solid.eXY etc., we can only obtain the value for the first eigenmode. Is there any way to express the value of strain tensor for the first, second, and third eigenmodes values, separately?

Thank you very much!

BR, Naoyuki

You can use the withsol() operator to pick individual solutions.

Dear Henrik Sönnerlind,

Thank you for your repling and sorry for late my repling. It took much time to understand the option of ‘‘withsol". But I can fully understand! Thank you very much!!
