non uniform electric field in the plasma physics

Hello,I am learning to use the COMSOL to simulate gliding arc discharge.I have established a 2D model,but it often could not converge.So I want to know if the COMSOL could solve the condition which is non uniform electric field in the plasma physics. Thank you.
