I am working on a project titled "Piezoelectric energy harvesting from vibrations of a rotating shaft". I have done piezoelectric energy harvesting for transverse vibrations, by applying a mass at free end of the beam, but how can I rotate the shaft in order to calculate for rotational vibrations of beam. I want to rotate the shaft about an axis (perpendicular to longitudinal axis of shaft) which is at some distance from its fixed end.
