Dear all, Is it possible to get laser beam propagation at an an angle along material direction (z direction) using deposited beam power node under heat transfer in solids module. Because, whenever i define the laser beam with some angle (by setting beam orientation) on the top surface of the plate, the beam is not penetrating along the plane. It is always propagating normal to the surface. But, i could acheive the propagation at angle when I use the deformed geometry module along with heat transfer in solid.
Can anybody give valuable suggestions to encounter this problem? Can you please explain why it is working fine with deformed geometry?
