Calling global variables in material functions

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to call a global variable in piecewise and analytical functions but I keep getting an error that the variable is undefined. Is it not possible to do this? I would like to be able to vary a mole fraction in a mixture and am using a simple mixture rule for the properties.

Also, if I refer to temperature or absolute pressure in a material function in the same manner as it is used in the material library functions (i.e. I copy and paste the function into my custom material) I get an error message saying T or pA isn't defined.

Is there another method by which I can use a variable in these material functions?

Thanks!
