Piezoelectric Energy Harvester - R_Load

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am doing a piezoelectric energy harvester simulation by using AC/DC and structural mechanics studies. In my model I considered a simple electrical circuit (resistor, external I-terminal) to extract the voltage from the piezoelectric layer.

To find out the R-Load value (at which I could extract maximum voltage) I did frequency domain analysis by sweeping (auxiliary sweep) the resistance values at resonance frequency.

The problem I am facing is with the simulated value of R-Load which is in the range of mega ohms but from my practical experiments the value should be in the range of kilo ohms.

Could someone please help me with this simulation problem.

Kind Regards, Mani Teja
