Soil-Pile Interaction in 2D

Dear all,

I am trying to model soil-pile interaction in Comsol and need some help. I'm using Solid Mechanics for the soil pile, but not sure what I should use for the pile. If I use Soild Mechanics for the pile as well, in 2D analysis there is no way to assign the pile section properties (area, moment of inertia, ..). However, if I use Beam, I can assign section properties, but I cannot assign contact pair (atleast I don't know how), and also Multiphysics node is needed.

Any idea how to model a soil-pile interaction problem in 2D?
