The model.m can be solved without any warning in 4.0a, but cannot get solved in4.1 comsol with matlab. However, model can be established with geometry, material and mesh attribute, just can not get solved.

so, any syntax change has been made in comsol 4.1?

Hi

Have you checked the release notes?
Either at the conference in 2009 and confirmed at the 2010, and/or in the notes it was announced that there were changes in the early v4.0, and that one should not expect full transfer before 4.1 or 4.2. That is what I understood, and I remake my models in the new versions, therefore I notice little f these kind of issues

Good luck

Thanks very much , Ivar.

what confused me is that comsol4.1 desktop even can successfully retrieve the 4.0a model from 4.1 server and then get it solved. But the server itself can not do this , maybe some changes should be made in m file.

Anyway, I'd like to check the release note. Thank you for your reminder.
