How to do voltage excitation of a coil in Comsol?

Hello everyone! I am trying to develop Doubly-Fed Induction Generator model in Comsol. To be able to take into account the end-winding effect of the stator and rotor windings, I faced with problem, how to connect field domain with electric circuit model in Comsol. For the coil modeling I am going to use Multi-turn coil node. Because coils should be voltage excited, the best way is to use (External U vs I feature) interface in electric circuit. The description of using U vs I in Comsol manual is very weak.  When I am trying to solve the model, I do not have current in my coil at all, or sometime error message generated.

For the simplicity I uploaded very simple example, of one coil. Could someone please suggest how to connect field and circuit correctly in my case? Thank you very much!

Hello, Yury!

It is the best practice to start with our example model form application library:
1) Tranformer model

2) Inductive heating

3) Hysteresis

4) Magnetic field in coils

Please look through these models. It'll help you to start AC/DC modelling in COMSOL Multiphysics.
