Using functions in geometry parameters

Hi, I have defined functions (either globally, or in component) which I then wanted to use in geometry parameters like position. Comsol sais 'unknown function or operator'. How can I do this? A simplified example is attached.
Thank you
Daniel

Hi,

The geometry can only depend on parameters, not on functions. But parameters can be very general expressions of other parameters.

The difference between a parameter and a function is that the parameter is fixed within a certain study step, whereas a function can have any type of dependence on time, coordinates, results, etc. This is why it is not possible to let a function change the geometry.

Henrik
