I'm trying to model a pressure driven streaming current flow in a microchannel and would like to know how to use Bulter Volmer equation for electrodes. Streaming current represents an ionic convective flux; the fluid flow generates a tangential force on the hydrodynamically mobile part of electrical double layer and transports net free charges along the flow direction and there will be excess of ions at the end of microchannel, so If we place two short-circuited
Ideal electrodes, we will have all the current flowing through an external circuit, how can I model such electrodes using Bulter Volmer? What parameter should we consider for anode and cathode so we get zero electrical fields during streaming current measurements?
whats the best way to model short-circuited electrodes?
Thank you for your help
