How to use the pervious layer boundary condition?

What's the difference between pervious layer and hydraulic head boundary condition? I tried this two kind of boundary condition to simulate a filter cake on the soil surface. the thickness of filter cake is 35 mm, the hydraulic conductivity of filter cake is 1E-6 m/s. Firstly, I used pervious layer boundary condition to simulate a filter cake, and the conductance is2.85E-5 s^-1. Then I created a rectangle with width of 35 mm to simulate a filter cake, and add hydraulic head boundary condition to the side of this narrow rectangle. The results of two boundary condition is quite different, the pressure of hydraulic head boundary condition is larger than pervious layer boundary condition. I think the results is weird, because the results of two boundary condition should be same. And why?
