How the Darcy Velocity is defined

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone

It seems that I have stuck to a very simple problem and I hope someone from comsol community would know that.

I'm solving a solute transport problem in a groundwater aquifer and I wonder if anyone knows how the darcy velocity (q) is defined in Comsol.

In general the velocity terms (v) that are used in the Advection Dispersion Equation are related to the Darcy velocity with
v=q/? where ? is porosity
So my question is:
The term u_esdl is the v or the q??

Thank you
