Coupling problem in modelling Electristaically actuated MEMS switch

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to model electrostaic MEMS switch fixed at the two ends in comsol 4.3 by coupling es+ale+solid. For this, I have grounded one plate and applying a voltage on the other, air boundary is selected for moving mesh and force induced due to es physics is used for boundary load. But, I am not getting any displacement as error occurs after computation. Please help me. Also, I don't have access of higher version of comsol so, I can not use electromechanical physics.
I have attached the model.

Regards,
Vasudha
