What does Arc Length mean in a 1D plot line group?

What does arc length means?

Lets say I am modelling a square fluid domain of length 20 mm. I am trying to get the 1D plot line result for the boundary_right [in this case, the right side of the square fluid domain]. Then after I plot the result, the arc length goes until 20 mm. Does that result show what happens from the right side of the square fluid domain until the left side of the square fluid domain? Or is it only showing the result along the 'height' of boundary_right?

I would appreciate your answer thank you.
