High guys.
I am new to Comsol and was wondering if a comsol simulation will be able to give me the induced voltage on a conductor placed in an external electric field.

Certainly. There are a few examples in the Application Gallery part of the website, such as these:
www.comsol.com/model/induction-currents-from-circular-coils-124
www.comsol.com/model/multi-turn-coil-above-an-asymmetric-conductor-plate-13777
www.comsol.com/model/eddy-currents-in-a-cylinder-128
www.comsol.com/model/induction-heating-of-a-steel-billet-330
www.comsol.com/model/eddy-currents-3d-970
and many more.
Best,
Jeff

Thank you very much! Another question if you don't mind. I simulated a conductor with a particular voltage and did a 2-D surface plot for electric potential. I noticed that there is a potential radiating outwards from the surface into the medium (air). I know that the potential diminishes inversely from the conductor center but I was curious to know what equations Comsol utilized to arrive at those values. Pardon my poor field theory knowledge.
