i am working on pulsatile fluid flow and willing to reduce pulsations with compliant chamber with elastic membrane. In this geometry, we need to define liquid domain (i.e. where liquid flows inlet, compliant chamber and outlet) with fixed side walls as well as inlet and outlet for laminar flow, and membrane boundaries are fixed but membrane is deformable due to pulsatile flow.Membrane material is hyper elastic.
Which type of mesh is suitable for this geometry? Also which module is suitable for this type of geometry? We were using fluid structure interaction module along with laminar flow.
Please find attached picture of our geometry. In picture inner boundary shows liquid domain and outer boundary represents fixed side walls.
