We are looking for a software developer to work on improving core user interface, communication and data layer frameworks. The majority of our development work is done in Java, with some use of C#.

Role Overview
Based in our newly renovated office in central Stockholm, the user interface team works on the core functionality of the COMSOL product suite, focusing on the user interface, communication and data layer frameworks. The team also develops the Application Builder, COMSOL Server, COMSOL Compiler, and Model Manager functionality, which customers use to create, deploy, and manage simulation apps.
Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, contributing to project specifications and design, and testing new functionality.
Qualifications
We are looking for both junior and senior developers with the following qualifications:
- M.Sc. or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or physics.
- Excellent programming skills with proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, for example Java, C#, or C++.
Additional qualifications that would be highly valued:
- Work experience in relevant programming positions.
- Experience with larger software projects.
- Knowledge of software engineering and computer science.
Knowledge of physics or simulation is not a requirement, but interest in these areas will help to better understand our product and market.
