Room Impulse Response of a Smart Speaker
Application ID: 115561
This model combines pressure acoustics and ray acoustics to perform a full frequency range analysis of the room impulse response of a small smart speaker. The source characterization in the ray tracing model is based on a full multiphysics model of the transducer and compares two source couplings: the Release From Exterior Field feature and the Release from Pressure Field feature to set up the transducer source.
A more detailed description of this model can be found in the blog post "Full Acoustic Room Impulse Response of a Small Smart Speaker".
This model example illustrates applications of this type that would nominally be built using the following products:
however, additional products may be required to completely define and model it. Furthermore, this example may also be defined and modeled using components from the following product combinations:

- soit le Module AC/DC, Module Battery Design, Module MEMS, Module Plasma, Module RF, ou Module Semiconductor
The combination of COMSOL® products required to model your application depends on several factors and may include boundary conditions, material properties, physics interfaces, and part libraries. Particular functionality may be common to several products. To determine the right combination of products for your modeling needs, review the Grille des Spécifications and make use of a free evaluation license.
