Thermal dose calculation using an ODE

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everybody,
I am working on a thermal model using the bioheat equation with Comsol 3.5.
I need to make some parameters vary with the thermal dose.

If I calculate it as an expression : quad(0.5^(316.15-at(tau,T)),tau,0,t,1e-4)
The "quad" function only enables me to use this expression in post-processing : it cannot change the jacobian...

I have tried to define it in a global equation :
doset - 0.5^(316.15-T) =0, dose(0)=0

but I get an error :
"failed to evaluate Jacobian
Variable : T
Global scope"

Could someone help me ?
Thanks a lot
Anthony
