Defining flow resistivity of an interior perforate plate

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi there

I am running simulations on a wind tunnel with micro mesh plates around the test rig. I am trying to find the appropriate parameter for the flow resistivity but I am having trouble finding an appropriate definition that matches the one in COMSOL.

Do you have any advice as to how one can determine this value?

Regards,

Idan

From an article from comsol conference theta.f=0.5*M/sigma.
M for meanflow mach number and sigma is the porosity.
Wish this be helpful.
