Poroelasticity-fluid flow

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,

I want to model a poroelastic precess in a 3D geothermal reservoir with constant pressures (injection and production of fluid with pI=3 MPa and pP=-3MPa) which are injected and produced through spheres into a reservoir (cubic).

I have implemented the following intial and boundary conditons:
- "initial values" for cubic: 0 Pa
- "boundary load" for cubic: 0 Pa
- "no flow" at the boundaries of the reservoir
- "roller" for all edges of cubic

- " pressure 1/2" as a boundary for the spheres (injection and production)
- " boundary load 1/2" as a boundary for the spheres (injection and production)

- "festlager" in one point

Finally I want create a porous medium (porosity: 0.1) where the pore pressure is capable to distribute.
Comsol support suggest that there has to be a difference in pressure to create any kind of flow which can be realised by boundary conditions. Can you help which boundary condition I can choose or is there another way to create fluid flow into reservoir?

Thanks and kind regards!
