2D Inductor design

Hi,

Can anyone comment on the model why it is getting too slow even after an hour don't finish while with 3-5 layers, it is atleast produce something? If possible, how can I improve it?

Hi,

You could use Mapped Mesh in all the "Aluminum" and "Insulation" domains and use the Free Triangular mesh in the rest. This should make model solve much faster.

I got it done already. but now I need your comment on the 3D model of the same design.
The problem here is apparently related to the meshing of domain 1 only when doing automatic meshing. Domain-1 is the surrounding air volume of inductor enclosed with the block as shown in Image-1. Also this domain includes the air between the consecutive winding layers, reference to Image-2.
I have tried applying 'Swept' to Winding and Insulation and 'FreeTetra' to others but that leads to problem in boundary respecting with issue in domain 1 as it is.
Any suggestions?
