Is my physics correct?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I was wondering if the physics I applied were correct.
Basically there are three fixed cast iron hemispheres in which a Borofloat Glass 33 plate sits on top. I applied a fixed constraint on the hemispheres and a gravity load. I was excepting the displacement at each contact point to be the same radially, but it is not so I was wondering if my physics was correct? If it is correct, I don't understand why the displacement varies in the way it does. I've attached a picture.
Here is the link to the file: www.dropbox.com/s/4j39oe178zfl487/Mirror%20on%20Hemispheres.mph?dl=0

Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,
Tina
