Coordinate system

Hi everyone,
I am a begineer to the comsol and i am working with the heat transfer physics. Can anyone please let me know how can i use new coordinate system say a rotated one in recalling my interpolation function.
Let say my function is f(x,y,t) as interpolation function.
If i want to recall it as a temperture on the boundary with the arguments of the new coordinate system like f(x1,x2,t) it won't work.
I used the tag e.g sys2 as f(sys2.x1,sys2.x2,t) but it still gave an error like

Undefined variable.
- Variable: sys2.x2
- Geometry: geom1
- Boundary: 1

Anybody know how to get rid of this problem and use the spatial coordinates of the new system ,please share your experience.
Thank you very much.

Best Regards.
