[A Bug??]Disk error while writing to temporary solution file

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi All,

I recently encountered a problem. I changed the default setting of the temporary file to the location under my own account on workstation-/home/XX/temp. After I finish one program, I first save it, at that moment, all solutions can be viewd and graphs can be plotted, then before closing the program, I clear the temporary files under /home/XX/temp, then I found the program I saved could not plot graphs from the solution, it shows the error"Disk error while writing to temporary solution file", it is very strange that the program size before deleting temporary files remain the same, the solutions must be saved. However, I can not view them. I have checked the free volume of my disk space, it is over 7GB.
Does this mean temp files can not be deleted? How could I handle the large temporary files after I run so many programs?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,
Leo

Hi

I'll also say that "support" is the best place to ask , last time I had a somewhat similar issue was when saving >2Gb files on a FAT32 formatted disk with an 32 bit OS

Good luck
