Convergence problem-Dielectric Barrier discharge

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello

I am modelling an AC-DBD. I am facing convergence problem as i run my model. The error that shows up is
Repeated test error failures
Failed to find consistent initial values.
Last time step is not converged.
--------------------------------------------------------
I know that this problem can be due to too large initial step size or un-smooth boundary conditions. To me, my boundary conditions make sense and I have to simulate my model in picoseconds to see the streamer propagation.

I will appreciate if anyone can guide me through this. Please find attached my model.

Thank you

Best regards
Zaid

Hi, Zaid,

I am also interesting in AC-DBD simualtion. I examined your uploaded model and many mistakes were found, especially in the boundary setting. How is your simulation work now?
