So you want something like q=f(t) or Tsource=f(t)? What should f look like?

I would like the f(t) to be a Sin() function.

Then you can put for the parameter of the heat source that you want to vary with time just something like 'A*sin(B*t)+C', where you replace A, B and C with actual numbers, or you define them as parameters beforehand.

Thank you for your help. I understand the approach in general. However, would you please give a little more step-by-step guide?
Thanks again.

Can you then maybe upload your model so that I can use that as a starting point for the steps that you have to do? And what parameter of your heat source do you want to vary with time? Temperature? Heat flux? Something else?
