3D simulation of waveguide with bragg grating

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I'm just starting with the 3D calculation. I'm interested in long-range plasmonic waveguide with bragg grating features.

I read some of tutorials about wave optics module and just follow them. And I have encounter with following problems.

1. I can simulate the propagation of light in plasmonic waveguide with the electromagnetic wave, beam envelop module, boundary mode analysis. But I cannot get same result with electromagnetic wave, frequency domain, boundary mode analysis.

2. When I put some grating feature with has different index or shape, then the Beam Envelop module dose not give some reliable result. The calculated field distribution is quite strange. Even I'm not sure that it could be calculated with the Beam Envelop module.

Could some one give me a advise with those problems? or recommend some materials about waveguide with grating?

Regards,
Choloong
