Biological Porous Scaffold with Ultrasound Wave Propagation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone,

I have a question: How can we model a biological porous scaffold filled with media and simulate an ultrasound wave propagation through it?

I am new to COMSOL and I realize I need to use the Poroelastic Wave Interface but I'm having trouble modeling the scaffold in a 2D axisymmetric plane. I was able to model it in 3D using arrays but COMSOL seems to freeze and unable to carry out any of the physics modules whenever the model is constructed using arrays.

I am wondering if this is possible and whether I can get my hands on any examples. Thank you!
Hyemin
