hi
I am having a IGES file in which length unit is in meter and i am doing a structural analysis (MODAL ANALYSIS). I have given all the data in SI unit. During import also I am using units from COMSOL.

In the model setting i am putting unit system as same as global system.

In the results i got total displacement in meter which is very large. According to me the unit of that value should be in mm but it is in meters.

Please reply i am new in COMSOL

Thanks

Hello Arpana,
In a modal analysis, the amplitude of the modes is arbitrary: only their shapes is meaningful.
