Question about AC/DC's treatment of demagnetization fields

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I'm using the induction heating module for a project in COMSOL 4.4 (involving heating several finite-length metallic right circular cylinders in an oscillating magnetic field), and have a question about how to approach demagnetization. Does the the magnetic relative permeability of the cylinders need to be corrected with their calculated demagnetization factor explicitly, or does the AC/DC module do this? I'm using the frequency-transient solver. Thanks in advance!
