model separate boundary for coils

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Greetings,
My question is I have modeled a 3d geometry of the motor. I have the stator and on the top of it I have to wound windings. But the point is how to define material domains for it as the stator is made of soft iron and windings are of copper. When i try to add copper material it is "over riding" the soft iron material. also in rotating machinery module I have added "muti-turn coils" also but the point still is how to give materials to the windings. or should I have to create separate domain for windings, if yes then how to model windings in comsol ? thanks
