how to create a electric field in coaxial cylinder

i am a beginner of the comsol. i built a coaxial cylinder and want to plot 3-d electric field diagram. i set 1800V for outer cylinder and 0V inner cylinder. then click the electric field, but there are three options: electric field in x component, electric field in y component and electric field in z component. however in the cylinder, both x and y component all have electric field, so how to add it together.
