Mixer evaluation with particle tracing

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I need help with a project I'm working on. I have microfluidic mixer and I would like to evaluate its mixing quality. In order to visualize what is happening inside the mixer I had used the particle tracing module.
I had read that the mixing quality can be evaluated taking into account the coefficient of variation (CoV) of particles at the mixer output.
CoV can be calculated as the standard deviation divided by the mean value.
The problem is that I don´t find or know how to do this in Comsol.

Can you help telling me how to do this or perhaps giving me an idea about another method to evaluate the mixer quality?

Thank you very much in advance.
