acoustic wave transmission through solid

Hello,

I want to induce an acoustic wave in the middle of a solid at an interior boundary. And the wave should transmit through the solid volume. How and where in the acoustics settings can I express the wave source for such a problem. My source is a pressure peak. If I implement the pressure as a pressure source at the boundary it seems to look like I do not get a traveling wave out of it.
