Taylor Hood or Crouzeix -Raviart element

Hello all

I am using COMSOL for solving the velocity and concentration field. I am using quadratic elements. But I don't know what kind of quadratic elements COMSOL uses. Is it a Taylor Hood or Crouzeix -Raviart ? Can I choose between these two options? Is there a way to find it out?

I really appreciate your answers

Hi

check the doc and the discretization node (you might need to turn on the options preferences show advanced or discretization ... several of the advanced options are "hidden" to make the model tree lighter for beginners

I found the answer and I want to share it here for future.

COMSOL uses Lagrangian shape function (by difficult) which is a C0 function. It means that the function is discontinuous for first derivative. So the elements are Taylor-hood because Crouzeix -Raviart elements are continuous for first derivative.
