grating reflection & transmission spectrum

Hi,

I am trying to simulate a grating structure a get the reflection & transmission spectrum of that , I have tried S-parameter but no field propagate in the structure .Is S-parameter the correct method? I don't know how to model the source?

You get transmission and reflection using Port boundary condition. Have a look at "plasmonic wire grating" example.
