That's actually a very non-specific question. What aspect(s) do you wish to model? What kind of surface? E.g., did you want to explore light scattering? Absorption? Heating? Is this a short pulse or continuous wave? There are various physical processes that you can use Comsol Multiphysics to explore and you wouldn't normally model them all in the same way.
