Port Direction Error

Good morning, I have a problem with the waveoptics-module in Comsol Multiphysics.

I'm trying to model a simple Waveguide. Previous attempts were in 3D and succeeded, but when I tried to simulate the waveguide in 2D, the Ports suddenly looked like this:

When I separate the two parts of the guide, the port works as it should:

This happened in none of the previous simulations. I reproduced every setting of the port from the other models, but one of the portboundarys always flows in the wrong direction. Dies anyone know how this could be solved? Sincerely, Till Degenhardt
