About the time step setting of the solver

Is it reasonable to set the time step of the transient solver to this value? Because the time span of the two processes is very different,The first process is based on microseconds, and the second process is based on seconds. So I set :range(0,2.18E-4,2.18E-3),range(0.218,0.218,22.018). But it run very slowly. The progress has not changed in 6 hours.Or is there any good way?Is it necessary to divide the study into two parts?I would appreciate any answers.
