Modelling optical fibres in COMSOL (ver: 5.5)

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi I am currently using COMSOL to simulate an optical fibre and require assistance with post-processing. Specifically, after calculating the desired number of modes, I aim to determine the total electric field (x-component) at various positions within the fibre by adding the x-component of the electric fields (Ex) of different modes. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or guidance you could provide regarding this matter.
